Beef River Bullfrogs

Scott “Sarge” Sorenson has officially stepped down as Manager of the Bullfrogs after 7 years. The team and it’s fans will miss his fiery and funny personality on game-day, but are looking forward to seeing where new Manager Jesse Ven Rooy will take the team in 2020 and beyond. The 2020 Beef River bullfrogs are looking to find more success and further develop it’s young roster. 2019 was a year of peaks and valleys with lots of new faces to go with a few returning young veterans. At 7-15, the Bullfrogs did not meet their hopeful expectations but showed that they can beat the best teams in the league when everything is clicking.
This year, will feature three of the teams top offensive players from last year in Taylor Rathke (.438 OBP), Tim Prince (.402 OBP), and promising high schooler Austin Zimmerman (.355 OBP).
Other key returning contributors will be Ryan Grey, Ethan Bartels, Zach Berg, Logan Jacobson, Kyle Maug, Ethan Maug, Tanner Marsh, and coach Jesse Ven Rooy.
We would like to thank our loyal sponsors and fans who make this team possible every year. There are higher expectations for us and we are excited to see what happens this year.
