Osseo Merchants

2019 was another successful season for the boys in blue, winning the CRBL South title and the league championship for the fourth consecutive year. The Merchants advanced to the WBA final 8 once again. On the field, the defense was led by the arms of Logan Boettcher and Luke Eide. They were backed by a steady-handed bunch of ball hawks around the diamond. Jesse Brockman sparkled at shortstop, and as usual not too many errant throws got by Joe
Zawacki at first base. The offense was led by perennial league MVP Ryan Freitag who filled the stat sheet as he does every year. Our veteran lineup was bolstered by some new faces including Jaxon Kostka and Reese Vold. The
Merchants look to continue this historic run by returning most of a talented roster along with some new faces. We would like to thank the local businesses and community members. Running an organization like ours would be impossible without their support. See you at the ballpark. WWMD!
