Whitehall Wolves Withdraw from CRBL

The Whitehall Wolves have withdrawn from the Chippewa Rivers Baseball League (CRBL) for the 2022 season. Their inaugrual season was 2005 and have played all 17 seasons in the south division of the CRBL.

During their 17 years of play they accomplished the following:

  • South Division Champs – 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015
  • CRBL Champions – 2012, 2013
  • WBA Qualifyer – 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019

The Whitehall Wolves are the fourth team to fold in the CRBL since 2016. The Hallie Eagles folded in 2016 and the Stanley Slammers and Augusta Athletics followed suit in 2019. Just one expansion team has been added since 2016, when Wayne Franz returned the Chippewa Falls LumberJacks into CRBL play in 2021 after they were transitioned to Eau Claire and became the Eau Claire Rivermen in 2017.
